Murphy was born on Devils night 2020 we brought him home eight weeks later to meet Baxter the dog that we’ve had for 10 years. Baxter saw Murphy and gave him a love sniff right on his ear. They got introduced and they were standoffish for a while. Murphy always trying to antagonize, and Baxter acting as the boss taught Murphy all the tricks of the trades to train the humans to fetch they both work in together. A year past and Baxter passed away and Murphy was the new force to reckon with! Murphy learn all the tricks and even added a few, he was my shadow for 5+ years a companion to both my wife and I, his loss is unbearable at this moment but in time it will ease a bit, but the void still felt until we see each other at the Rainbow Bridge.
