My husband Brad and I took a road trip to southern Ohio on 10/8/2016 to get our mini bulldog Monti. Monti was the runt of the litter…active and loyal from the start. He had a spot on the top of his head I lovingly referred to as his naughty spot. He loved to travel and was able to visit Matlache Florida, Copper Harbor Michigan, the Smokey Mountains of Tennessee, West Virginia, and many other places. He stayed loyal and true to our family and always protected us throughout his short life here on this earth. He snored louder than a train and was frequently gassy…the typical bulldog. But he was the Best Bulldogger as I always called him. He always offered love and often smiled when it was given to him. He loved food…if you said steak he would do anything you asked. The crinkle of a bag was cause for excitement as he was sure there would be a potato chip or treat for him. The sound of wheel of fortune was his kryptonite…he always hid when he heard it. If he would misbehave you would say “wheel of fortune!” and it stopped. He loved all dogs…so much. Monti chose his people to love but loved all dogs. He was deeply loved and cared for by my husband, our daughter and me. Monti Q. Montague crossed the rainbow bridge on 3/13/21 at 2:11 p.m. after ongoing illness. He passed peacefully in his home surrounded by his family. Safe travels Mont and we will see you again one day. Thank you for loving our family and being the best bulldogger ever. Good old Mont
