Riley was a rescue whose story began as a dumped kitten suffering various medical problems. We fell in love with his quirky personality. Our heart was healed by his presence since we had just lost our beloved dog. He was a goofy, tolerant, vocal and lovingly sweet kitty. Sixteen yearsnot enough. If we had three wishes the first would be that our pets lifespans were the same as ours. He was witness to our ups and downs but was always a constant source of unconditional love! A true lap cat, he could always be found resting, nudging or settling in on a lap. In the years we shared, he never tried to bite, scratch us or fight with us. ( except one time when his nail got cut too short by accident). He was an ultimate gentleman, greeting visitors sweetly, sitting patiently for brushing or accepting attention from his good buddy, Halle, our dog. He was simply love personified.
