Jewel came into our lives three months after I gave birth to my younger son Ryan. My oldest boy Robert was staying at my sister’s for the weekend and they found a litter of kittens under her house, one of the kittens kept following Robert around, he called me and asked “Mom, can I have a kitten”, my first thought was no, I just had a baby. However, Robert played the how cute she is trick by bringing her home for me to see and he knew I couldn’t resist after that … Jewel was ours and boy oh boy did we love her, she was spoiled just as much as they were!!
It was funny that Jewel didn’t like any of Robert’s girlfriends (smart kitty), by the time Ryan started dating, Jewel was older and didn’t care, LOL but most of all, I was her favorite person .. Jewel would follow me around every where and the moment I stopped to sit, she was right there to cuddle! I’m going to miss my baby girl so much .. my sweet Julie Jewels. Jewels made it to be 17 years old, a long happy life and a chance to live and survive from under my sister’s house. We’ve had a great life together .. Rest in peace baby girl, I love you
