Mochi came in to our lives in November of 2019, when my boyfriend found her in a storage unit at our apartment complex. She was a very thin frightened kitty at the time. But the moment he picked her up, she purred. After a few days she warmed up and started to explore our home. She loved to cuddle and sit in our laps, and she LOVED food. Especially human food! She would follow us whenever we made ourselves a plate for dinner and would try to sneak a piece or two. Her favorite food was chicken. So of course we started to save a bit for her when we made chicken. Her favorite spot was the computer chair. That was her spot to sleep and perch. If you were sitting in the chair, she would wait for you to leave so she could steal it back. Mochi stuck her tongue out a lot and sometimes a tooth would get stuck on her lip so she’d have a look of disgust on her face. She had such a funny personality. She also loved to hide in paper grocery bags. She started getting sick a few months ago and then was diagnosed with intestinal lymphoma. We also found out at that time that she was older, around 14-15 years of age. We don’t know how her life was before we found her, but we are glad we were able to give her a really amazing life in our home. We are going to miss our Sweetie, our Mochi Moo. We love you so much.
