We adopted Otis on Feb. 2nd 2010 from a shelter, he was on his last few days before they were going to put him down & We fell in love with him immediately & decided to save his life. He was skinny & a bit shy but was so loving when we brought him home. He became our sweet, fluffy & a bit chubby, kitty boy in no time. He loved laying on Jay’s stinky shoes or sunbathing in front of the window. He never missed an opportunity for a meal or treat and cuddles from anyone. After a few years, we had our daughter & he loved her right away, always wanting to lay near her even when she was a small baby. He was actually the reason she learned to roll over, because she wanted to get near him so badly ???? They were best buddies from the time she arrived. We had our son a year & a half ago and Otis was a bit older by then so he wasn’t as eager to love on the new “loud” addition but it didn’t take long for those 2 to form a special bond as well. Our son was always trying to brush or pet Otis & started saying “kitty” right after mama & dada ❤ He was such a special pet to all of us, even our extended family loved seeing him & giving him lots of cuddles. Our husky, Loki & him had a love hate relationship, Otis never let him get too close but every so often we’d catch them sharing a bed together. They’ve both been with us for over 11 years, our 1st babies, & I know Loki will miss his sassy kitty buddy ????????
we had so much love for our beloved kitty boy, a piece of our heart went with him the day he passed Over the Rainbow Bridge.
