I rescued Nicholas from Dearborn animal shelter when he was 4months old, someone dropped him off in a box in front of DAS.. I was looking to adopt a puppy at the time and went to look at puppies.. he was in a top cage as I walked in the room. He looked right at me and I went over to him and pet him threw the cage , I started to walk away to look at other dogs and he did this little squeak noise at me and I turned around and he did a turn around like a model does, and sat down . Right there I knew he was meant for me, so I adopted him on spot. He was so smart he potty trained himself,he sat at the door to let me know he had to use the potty and he was never trained to do that, he was so loyal , loveable , a big brother to his little sister who we adopted in 2018.. Nicholas was a pit bull that was a lover not a angry bone in his body.. 2022 we noticed a small lump in lymph nodes and took him to the vet and had tests and biopsies done to determine if it was cancer and it was , the lump got larger over that time. He was and will always be with me .. Nicholas James my fur son,my best friend, my everything.. love you always till we meet again love you boy boy
