Frank wasn’t supposed to be able to do the things he did.
A 17-pound Patterdale Terrier, he lived every day believing he was the biggest dog on the field. He became the smallest dog in the world to earn both a Protection Dog Certificate (PDC) and a PSA1, proving that courage has nothing to do with size. He went on to compete in PSA2, taking on challenges that most people would never expect from a dog his size.
Outside the bite field, Frank earned his Barn Hunt Open title, loved dock diving, and recorded a personal best jump of 12 feet, 8 inches. His personality was just as unforgettable as his working ability. He appeared in Happy Death Day 2U, competed on America’s Top Dog (Season 2, Episode 2), and somehow managed to steal the spotlight everywhere he went.
He even had his own merchandise line: Muscle. Mullet. Mayhem. A phrase that perfectly captured the little dog with the giant personality.
But none of those accomplishments were what made Frank special.
His greatest title wasn’t PDC. It wasn’t PSA1. It wasn’t “movie star.”
It was best friend.
Every night he slept curled up beside me. Every road trip, every trial, every adventure, every ordinary day—Frank was there. He was my shadow, my teammate, my biggest personality in the smallest body.
He taught me that heart has nothing to do with size.
He left behind titles, ribbons, memories, and stories that will be told for years. But more than anything, he left behind a space in my life that can never truly be filled.
Muscle. Mullet. Mayhem.
Forever my little legend.
