From the very first day that I met Macho, he was determined to steal my heart. It wasn’t until later that I learned that he was a heart thief. He had the ability to turn the coldest person.
I’ve never known of a dog that could touch the lives of so many. He made friends everywhere (neighbors, people out of state, dogs, cats, my coworkers and even a ferret).
I couldn’t be a happier dog mom to know the impact my dog had. People would make him homemade treats. He would even receive gifts for Christmas.
My grandmother loved Macho. She would always ask for me to bring him over for sleepovers. She would spoil him to pieces (even against my wishes).
You can’t talk about Macho without talking about his blanket. He was obsessed with his red fleece blanket. He wouldn’t even let me touch it. Thing is, he stole it from me. He would fall asleep while nibbling on it. Whenever I tried to take him to go visit a neighbor, he would drag the blanket with him.
Although I am sad to see him go, I know that his purpose was fulfilled. I couldn’t be a more proud dog mom. He has stole the hearts of so many, and they will never forget him.
