I will start by say, I was not a dog lover when I met my Mommie. I found her wondering on a service drive and I block traffic to save her from getting hit. At first, I was looking for a way to get her back to her original owner’s I took her to the vet they identified a chip and the company it was from .I contacted them and they notified me that she had been missing from her owner’s for 5 years. So I waited for someone to call, but that never happened. So I called them back and the customer service representative said that If I kept her and they called I could give her back. I spoke with some on the legal propective of it and they explained to me to jeep all receipts for any care administered and items I bought Mommie, so if anyone ever tried to clam her they would have to reimburse me. By then, a few days had passed and no call and I was in love with my Mommie. She was so loving kind and smart and she was like my second child. My sister had even became her auntie and got really attached In to her also! She would pick her up and let spend days at her house playing her dog name Roscoe! Which he basically became his cousin. I love her so much and I miss her already! Thanks for reading our story and I hope this can help some going thru the same thing as me.
