Havok was a special needs English bulldog, but you’d never know he was special needs. Havok came to be with me when he was 10 weeks old. I knew he was a special. I was nervous because I never raised a boy puppy from a baby. I was so scared he wasn’t going to like me. Little did I know Havok & I was going to have a bond so deep it was the most beautiful thing. I devoted my life to care for this tiny little puppy with spina bifida. Havok was my shadow. Where I was, Havok was. He never missed a beat. Havok was my velcro dog. I was Havoks sole caregiver. I spent all my time with Havok. I hardly ever leave my house so the bond grew more and more with each day. Havok and I loved to dance together, to skip down the hall, Havok favorite thing was to play ball. That boy would run like a racehorse after his ball. I couldn’t believe how fast he could run. His little legs would carry him so quickly. Havok was pure happiness. I started a Facebook page for havok, “the adventures of Havok” I started it to show people that special needs animals are just as perfect as animals that don’t have disabilities. Havok was so well known in the bulldog nation. He touched so many people’s lives and brought so much happiness to others. Havok was a happy boy always. Havok taught me so much in the short time we were together. He will forever be the love of my life, the best 2 years of my life, the best happiness I’ve ever had. I truly don’t know how to life without him. When Havok took his las breath, my heart and soul went with him. I will forever morn my boy until I have him back in my arms again.
