GOD gave my friend the gift of loving dogs. She ensures that any dog have a happy home and loving family. In 2008, I received a call from her, while she was on vacation. She informed me that she was gifting me and my daughter with a puppy that was in danger in his current home environment. She dropped Scrappy off to us by the way of a farm in Chicago, with countless acres. The plan was for Scrappy to keep my daughter company. Little did we know that this 9 pound Yorkie Poodle would forever change our lives. Like the meaning of his name, Scrappy was a feisty soul and maintained a determined spirit for anything that he put his mind too. He had the temperament of an aggressive Rottweiler when urged and the bass in his voice was that of a trained German Shepherd. Scrappy loved out doors, playing with his toys and cuddling. He always thought he was on the farm and would run until he got tired. He left his mark on everyone he came in contact with, either your heart or even your shoes. We fought, played and loved. He will be greatly missed. Gone from the family, but forever in our hearts. My husband reminded me that all dogs go to heaven. Until we meet again Scrappy/Scrap Scrap/ Scrapster/Tinkle Butt.
