This princess was her name, a Sweetheart. I found her at a humane society in Indiana. As I walked around the room she was one of the last set of cages I walked by. She was the only one that had her paw out and trying to get MY attention. After I let her out of her cage she jumped on to me and just started purring up a storm. I knew. I knew she picked me. Her name was Sweetness, but my mouth kept saying Sweetheart. So she became the best Sweetheart ever.
She would sleep all day, but the second she heard you she wanted love. She was jealous of others getting love. She had to of been one of the most clumsy cats we knew. She has a beautiful heart shaped patch on her front leg and loved her brother Malay with everything she had.
She would be just so loud with her meows when you go to do anything. Whenever you went to grab her food you would be attacked with an endless wave of meows until she got her food. She didn’t like being picked up by dad but LOVED being picked up by mom. When she would be picked up by her mom she would nonstop pur and drool. In the last year she developed a cute thing with her mom. Anytime she was picked up and her mom would squeeze her lightly her purrs would rev up with every squeeze.
She couldn’t and wouldnt hurt a fly, she lived to love on and be loved on. She made a point every morning to get our love and attention as soon as you wake up, get home or just stand up to walk. She had a very tight bond with her brother Malay. She loved to box with him all the time, most of the time she would even win. She would get the cutest zoomies throughout the house.
With her dad one day they were playing in the room and she just made the cutest squeak I’ve ever heard. Ever since that day she started making all sorts of squeaks when she jumped, landed, picked up or spooked. She was definitely loved unconditionally by everyone in her life. She made friends with anyone and everyone that came into the house. This home will never be the same without our little princess.
