I remember vividly receiving a blurry picture of this puppy that was just born on January 25, 2011. I had a good old flip phone back then so I was trying to make out what the picture was. My husband’s friend had a chocolate lab that just had a litter. I’ve always been a cat person so I think this was a way to coax me in to getting a puppy. It worked. On March 19, 2011, we brought Mocha home. She was the perfect dog. She was a lab that hated water but loved snow. Never ever barked outside or inside. We had her trained to bark once when she wanted in. She never tore or chewed things up. Never jumped the fence. She was a gentle soul and she is greatly missed.
