When I first saw sunset a neighbor brought her over to cheer me up, you see I was dealing with another loss of a pet I had for a few months that got hit by a train. At that time I didn’t want anymore animals ever again, but she was so cute I couldn’t say no. So I held her and talked to her, and when I went to give her back she dug her claws into me and started to scream. She continued this until I said “OK ok I keep you!” Sunset then barked at me and licked my cheek, then went back to my neighbor without an issue (she was still too young for me too keep yet). She began to melt my heart, she loved her daddy so much. She would sit by the front door and talk-bark at him until he said HI and petted her. She enjoyed camping with daddy and proudly pranced around in her camo-coat vest. She loved to lay on her camping pillow by the fire and always enjoyed steak night. she loved to have her butt scratched and to be my son’s and daughters body pillows when they sleep. Her tale never stopped wagging and she always voiced her excitement with barking. Especially when she went on a car ride, she’d sit in the seat and look out the window, waiting for her pup cup. Her coat was the most beautiful golden color, she reminded of a color of a Tennessee summer sunset. Which is how she got her name. She was loved and adored by anyone who meet her. Mommy and Daddy will miss you our sweet girl! Give our Jacky boy our love.
