Our family adopted Lucy from the Humane Society the summer of 2007. Lucy was in a room with other cats. When we walked in the room,all the cats scattered except for Lucy. Lucy came up to us purring and brushing up against our legs. That day Lucy chose us to be her family. We didn’t look at anymore cats. We adopted her that day! For nearly 13 years Lucy brought so much love and joy to our lives. Although she was a family pet, she had a special bond with my daughter. We miss Lucy very much. She will forever be in our hearts.
