Today, I sadly say goodbye to one of the best pets I’ve ever had. I went to MHS back in 2004 to find a kitty. They had a dozen kittens but after playing with them I was ready to leave empty handed. The front desk clerk asked what I was looking for and I said, “just an affectionate cat”. They had an older kitty in the back that was quartined with a respiratory infection. His person had surrendered him because she was pregnant. As she handed him to me, that was it. He snuggled right up to me and that is how Indy came into our lives. 16 years later at the old age of 21 I had to make the difficult decision to end his suffering. RIP Indy, you are eternally part of my heart.
