Lucy was around 10 weeks when we had gotten her from a farm I’m Ohio. We got her when my daughter was almost 5 so she grew up with Lucy. Lucy was diagnosed with a stage 4 heart murmur when she was about 8 years old, and it progressed more throughout the next 2 years. She has always been a stubborn lazy dog, but she was one of the most loving dogs you could ever meet. May 24, 2022 we found out her heart murmur was at a stage 6 which was the worst on the scale. A couple weeks later she was diagnosed with cancer in her stomach and we would need to put her down either that day or within that week. 6 days later on June 14, 2022 we sadly had to put her down.
