Boston was a lab mix, with a light golden red coat. He was the best dog in the whole world.
We were lucky enough to share more than fourteen years with Boston. He liked nothing better than to be at home with his family. When one of us was gone, he would stand by the front door or sit on the front lawn, waiting patiently for us to come home.
Boston also loved long walks, especially in the park. As he got older, the walks got shorter and shorter, and the naps after the walks got longer and longer. We knew the time would come when we would have to say goodbye for the last time, but that didn’t make it any easier.
When our time comes, we hope to find him sitting on thick green grass, under bright warm sunshine, waiting patiently for us to come home.
