I found my sweet boy Flash in a shelter and completely by chance. I was supposed to be out with a friend and my friend had an emergency and had to leave suddenly. This left me wandering around Ann Arbor, MI by myself while waiting for my ride home. I happened to walk into a PetSmart and wandered over to the shelter kitties. There he was, my sweet boy. He was curled up and sleeping. Something about him drew me in, he had been abused and neglected before being taken in, and I couldn’t stop coming back to him. They let him out so I could see him and he walked right to me, curled up in my lap, and gave me the sweetest kisses. I knew we were meant to be in eachothers lives. I adopted him and brought him home. From that moment on he was my boy, he was with me through so much. Happiness, hurt, love, marriage, pregnancy, moving around the state..etc. I fostered other animals, cats and dogs, and he would love every single one of them and was very protective. He was such a loving and cuddly boy. He would always greet me when I came home, give me lots of kisses, and lay with me or my daughters every night. When I was pregnant he would lay across my belly and pur while he felt their little kicks. From the moment they came home he would cuddle and comfort them through everything. He was truly the best boy and there will never be another like him. He was loved by everyone humans and animals alike and will be missed greatly. He was loving others and protecting until the moment he passed on.
