Chilly had a bit of a rough start. We were told that she was found on the streets of Detroit alone on a super cold night. So, they named her Chilly. She was sick and taken in by the Humane Society of Huron Valley. She was in the shelter when she was stolen when still tiny and sick. The shelter used social media to find out who took her and she was returned to them and taken in as a foster instead. We visited in late December and were looking for a dog, and Chilly was still a small puppy in the cat room at the shelter. We had to drive home to get our boxer, Riley, to be sure they would get along. They got along great and we took her home late that day. She was, overall, a sweet dog and always a bit shy and often looked sad in her eyes. She was deathly afraid of fireworks, bonfires, and thunderstorms. We always let her sleep in our bed, so many of those things were better for her, because she could be nearby and stay close for ‘protection.’ She lead a good life and was loved and we will miss her very much. Goodbye sweet Chilly (Chilson, Choosen and all the other nicknames we had for her). I am sure there are NO scary things in doggy heaven for you anymore.
so sorry for your loss I have just lost my baby boy Riley also this was the place I could have taken him there were so kind. God bless.
