Biscuit was our beloved Golden Retriever and very much a member of our family. He was born Aug 1 2009 and crossed the rainbow bridge on July 28, 2021. He will be forever missed and forever remembered. As clich as it may seem, Biscuit was truly “man’s best friend”. He was the perfect combination of loveable mixed with lazy. He was always a willing participant of all our shenanigans and was just happy to participate in whatever adventure we had planned for that day. As a puppy, Biscuit was super devious and kept us on our toes with all of his escape tactics, hole digging, and chewing all things tangible (but mostly our furniture–he loved chewing through our couches and mattresses). Biscuit loved the water and all thing related to it. He loved car rides, walks in the park, and getting dirty. Treats—Biscuit was a true lover of all things edible and could hear the crinkle of a wrapper opening from a mile a way. He would do pretty much anything we asked of him, especially when there was a treat involved. Biscuit was the very definition of a constant companion. He was happy as long as he was close to us and enjoyed being a part of any and all of our daily adventures. Biscuit loved belly rubs, being brushed, cuddling, and was notoriously known for head butting you to get your undivided attention. He loved a good game of fetch and seemed easily amused each time his humans would throw the ball and bring it back to him. We swear he held the world record for his ability to quickly tear the fuzz off of a tennis ball. Biscuit loved life and all that it had to offer. He was never in a rush and taught us all to take our time and appreciate the little things in life. His fun meter was always up and wagging with his whole body. We spent his last days doing things he loved the most: A quick trip up north, swimming in the pond, sun bathing on the deck, bird watching, and most importantly–napping! He truly lived his best life. We are so thankful for the opportunity to have been his humans for the last 12 years. He brought us so much joy and so many smiles. Our lives were truly better with him in it. The pain that we are feeling without him in no way would compare to never having known him. RIP Biscuit—We will forever love you.
